DJ Mitsch is a pioneer in the business coaching field and was one of the first 25 business coaches in the US to earn a Master Certified Coach designation from the International Coach Federation (ICF). She is past president of ICF and was responsible for driving the global initiatives to create the chapters and international representation on the Board.

Together she and the coaches of Pyramid have served to develop leaders of leaders through innovative programs customized to meet organizational needs of multi-national companies. DJ is the author of Team Advantage™, Coaching for Extraordinary Results, Zombies to Zealots, and Mystic Grits, a southern girl’s journey to wisdom.

Barry Mitsch has special expertise in working with executives and teams on strategic presentations and has supported a diverse client base ranging from Fortune 50 companies to academic institutions. Barry is the co-author of Team Advantage™ and author of Mind Over Mutter.

Cindi Ackrill

Cindi Ackrill, MD, PCC

Dr. Ackrill has over 11 years experience in primary care medicine in private and public health settings and 10 years in brain-based approaches to behavior and health, applied neuropsychology, Heartmath, and biofeedback practitioner. More recently, she has focused on consulting; addressing leadership development, 360 assessments, off- and on-site strategic planning, organizational effectiveness reports and facilitation.

She has spent over the last 5 years as a leadership/executive coach, founder of WellSpark, speaker, and workshop leader. Dr. Ackrill is a leader in the field of stress management and an expert in the critical relationships between lifestyle choices, performance capacities, and leadership effectiveness.

Kathy Baske Young

Kathy brings 25 years of hands-on management experience to coaching in both large corporations and in smaller companies as well. Her ability to quickly assess situations and put strategies in place to take them to the next level has served her clients well, whether it was starting up a new division, managing teams through change, or elevating levels of performance on teams.

Kathy focuses on coaching professionals, leaders, and leadership teams in many diverse industries. She has a knack for creative problem solving and a good sense of humor.

Brent Brower is an intuitive critical thinker that supports leaders in getting clarity around the deeper issues they need to face and actions they need to take to accelerate their development. Brent has coached over 200 executives and conducted over 200 workshops on coaching skills for leaders.

He is a visiting lecturer at North Carolina State University’s College of Management and serves on the teaching faculty of the U.S. Small Business Administration. Joseph Diab holds a law degree and a Master’s degree in International Law from Duke University.

She is the Southeastern Regional Leader for the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and founder and leader of the Coastal Carolinas Chapter for ICF.

Mark Greenawald is a family physician, physician leader, speaker, educator, workshop facilitator, and writer. In addition to having an active medical teaching practice, he presently serves in many leadership roles for the Carilion Clinic, including being the Vice Chair for Academic Affairs and Professional for the Carilion Clinic Department of Family and Community Medicine in Roanoke, VA.

Mark also serves as Medical Director for Physician Leadership and Professional Development and as Chair of the Professional Wellness Committee for Carilion Clinic.

Barbara established her coaching practice in 1995 and has a particular interest in evolving leadership, team effectiveness and career life cycles. She has authored numerous newspaper columns over the past ten years and currently publishes a biweekly column devoted to career-related issues.

Jeff Spar serves as the Miami, Florida, site director for The Highlands Program, a career and life planning program that offers assessment in the area of identifying and articulating natural abilities. His coaching practice focuses on executive level managers and entrepreneurs and he specializes in helping professionals optimize their talents and translate them into top performance.
